Going into season 7 of The Walking Dead, AMC faced its toughest marketing challenge yet: Promoting the show without spoiling one of the most controversial cliffhangers in television history. So navigating creative restrictions and sensitivities to successfully bring lapsed audiences back to the show, we introduced fans to its deadliest character yet: a baseball bat named Lucille.
